Alcorn Central is proud to recognize Miss Trinity Lassiter, the daughter of Scott and Heather Lassiter and the older sister of Autumn Lassiter, as our Rotary Student of the month.

Trinity is an outstanding and serious student at Alcorn Central High School and she can definitely claim to be a Golden Bear because she has attended Alcorn Central since kindergarten, and has been an Honor Roll student every single term!  Trinity is a voracious reader, and through her love for reading has been inspired to love writing as well.

Trinity has a number of honors and awards thus far in her education, –

Trinity is involved with the CREATE Foundation, and was able to donate almost $500 dollars back into a charitable organization because of the hours she volunteered. The Oasis Medical Center was the organization she chose to receive the funds.

Our Rotary students are always very involved in clubs and Trinity is no exception:  She has been active with 4-H Shooting Sports, Northeast Mississippi Youth Foundation (CREATE), National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), Alcorn Central High School Beta Club, Alcorn Central High School Spanish Club, Alcorn Central High School Drama Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and Educators Rising.

Outside of school sports, Trinity has been a member of the 4-H Shooting Sports and won first place in a shooting competition her first year of the program along with three Certificates of Achievement from the club.

After graduation Trinity plans on attending Northeast Mississippi Community College where she will pursue a degree in elementary education and  then transfer to Ole Miss to finish up her degree.
